Physician’s Formula Happy Booster

008

Today I wanted to tell you guys about one of my all time favorite blushes. This is the Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Blush. It is the cutest blush I’ve ever seen, just looking at it makes me happy! The cute, pink packaging and the heart designed are what drew me in initially but the blush itself is amazing.

009

You can swirl all the colors together for a gorgeous light pink glow but I like to concentrate my brush on the darker pink side and get a very bright pop of color on my cheeks. I put this blush aside for awhile while I was using E.L.F.’s Candid Coral this summer, but I’ve been reaching for it more the past few weeks because I’ve been wanting a brighter color on my cheeks.

I think this blush works great for the fall and would look great on fair and medium skin tones. You can purchase Physician’s Formula at most drugstores and if you lucky you can find them on sale. As I said before, this is one of my favorite blushes from the drugstore and I encourage all of you to check it out if you haven’t already. What are some of your favorite blushes from the drugstore?

Hi everyone! I have a NoTD post for you today! It feels like I haven't done one in awhile. I recieved this beautiful polish in my Birchbox this month. This is Color Club's Insta-This, which is a part of their collection that is inspired by popular social websites. I love this cobalt blue which seems to be everywhere this fall. I've gotten so many compliments on it and I have a feeling its going to be on my nails a lot this fall. Thanks for reading! Stay beautiful!

E.L.F Blush in Candid Coral

I don’t think I’ve ever blogged about my recent obsession with E.l.F’s blushes.  I hadn’t tried any of them until this summer when I picked up Candid Coral from Target.  And that’s when the obsession started.

I love this blush! As the name suggests, it is peachy coral color with lots of very fine shimmer in it, which I think does a great job of reflecting the light off your cheeks without seeming like you have a lot of glitter on your face.

I personally love applying this as a contour instead of normally as a blush. This color is dark enough to contour and give some dimension on my pale skin(I do this with Sigma’s F40 Angled Contour brush) but on darker skin tones this looks great applied normally as a blush.  E.L.F can be purchased at Target and eyeslipsface.com, I’ven seen some Walmarts starting to carry it.  If you haven’t checked out E.L.F’s blushes you really should, they’re only $3 so they are totally worth it!

Coastal Scents 10 Pan Blush Palette

004

Hey beauties! I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I just started school and I'm still adjusting to a new school, new apartment and new schedule. But the important thing is I'm posting today! Today I will be reviewing the Coastal Scents 10 Pan Blush Palette. I go this in June back when Coastal Scents had it 50% off and I've been meaning to do a review on it. As you can see, mine was injured in transit and the pink on the bottom right corner has a big chunk missing.

As the name implies, it comes with ten different blush shades so this is great to have if your just starting out with makeup or looking to expand your collection(or if your like me and end up doing your friends makeup often you have colors that work for everyone.) There are a wide range of colors, ranging from soft, natural colors to bright, in your face colors. My particular favorite is the pink in the corner(the damaged one). Its actually the only shade I've found in this palette that works on my skintone, the other ones seem to look "dirty" on my cheeks. Below are swatches of all ten shadows.

These blushes all have great pigmentation, as you see from the swatches.  All in all, I think this is a great palette to have if you are starting out with makeup and want to experiment with what blushes work for you, or if you want to expand your collection.  You can purchase this palette on the Coastal Scents website for $15.95 but you can usually find it on sale for less.  If you follow Coastal Scents on Facebook or Twitter, you can usually find out when these saes are. Hope you enjoyed this review and I'll see you all next time!
