A recent makeup purchase I’ve made that I’ve been very excited about is The Balm’s Nude’tude palette. This palette has been receive much buzz in the makeup world and I was dying to get my hands on it.  This palette is very sleek and gorgeous.  The packaging shows a very classy bedroom scene. Its made of very sturdy cardboard so I think it will last a very long time.

Let’s talk about the shadows themselves.  Each of the twelve shadows are beautiful!  In this palette we have a wide ranges of colors from very light natural colors to some very dark colors.  We also have a great selection of finishes from some pearls, satins, and great matte colors that will work great for liners when your in a pinch.  Some of the shadows can be a bit chalky, such as Stand-Offish, but they have great pigmentation and opaqueness when applied. Others, such as the darker colors Sexy, Serious, Silly and Sleek are rather sheer and not quite as pigmented as I liked. I really had to build them up to get a good swatch.

All in all this palette is great for those who are wanting just one palette to get the job done or for those who are trying to expand there collection.  For the price, you can’t go wrong.  It was only $36, much cheaper than the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It’s available on TheBalm’s website, Birchbox, and occasionally on Hautelook.  If you have any questions about this palette, please leave them in a comment below. Thanks!
