Huge Ulta and BBW Haul!!

Guys....I did something bad. I went to Ulta...and I got a lot! I tried to logic this in my head that I had a 20% off entire purchase coupon as well as a $10 off coupon. So I saved a lot of money...but I spent a lot too. Anyway, I wanted to share my haul with you! I got lots of new products that I cannot wait to review :) Enjoy!!

Wish List Wednesday: NYX Butter Lipsticks

Hello beauties! Hurray for a new blogpost! I haven't written one in a long time. I'm super busy with school as I'm taking several education classes that require so many of observation hours for each. And hours of homework on top of that. I'm tired and burnt out but hey only 17 more days till spring break!!

Anyway, I've been super good with not buying any makeup, haven't bought a single product since November, go me! I'm paying for school currently and so my budget is super tight.  So because I haven't been able to go buy new products to try and review, I thought I'd do a Wish List Wednesday and talk about a product I'm currently pining after.

The product I really want to try is actually from the drugstore, so it's super affordable. NYX has been putting out a ton of new products, new eyeshadows, baked blushes(I might cave and buy one, they are only $5 and I have a coupon for Ulta) and these new butter lipsticks. They came out with butter glosses awhile back and I really like those. So when I saw the lipstick display at Ulta, it took every ounce of will power I had not to buy some. As I do not have any to swatch I will link a blog post by pursebuzz who did a great job swatching all the lipsticks. I really want to try Gum Drop, Taffy and, because I love a bright fun lip, Hunk.

This line seems to have a color for everyone and looks simply beautiful. I really hope to find some extra cash to buy a few of these as well as some of the other new products from NYX, which is probably my favorite drugstore brand ever. Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals and Sales!

Hello beauties and happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you all have a good holiday and spend some time with family and friends. I unfortunately have to work this Black Friday(3 am is when my shift starts!) so I'll be going to bed halfway through my holiday. But I want to pass along some great deals and steals for the big shopping day.

Beauty Deals:

Ulta- Ulta's deal's list can be found here. I feel like they're offerings are a bit better than Sephora's, offering a better range of products and deals. The bargain I really like and would likely buy if I weren't already stocked up is the Big Sexy Hair products for only $6.99, that's a whole $10 off!!! Other noteable deals are the Clarasonic Mia being only $99(Sephora jumped the gun on that one and offered it earlier in the week) and the $16 Urban Decay Palette. Also, Chi flat irons are super discounted.

Sephora- Sephora's "Dealtopia" can be found on the company's pinterest page. Lots of full sized or deluxe sample sets for only $10! I perused the list but nothing jumped out at me that I really wanted. Though I will say the Stila palettes are amazing deal!

Sigma Beauty- As a Sigma Affiliate, I'm privy to the deals they will be offering and it's my job to let you guys in the loop. If you live outside the States and have always wanted to order from Sigma but couldn't justify the shipping rates, now's your chance. Sigma will be offering FREE WORLD WIDE SHIPPING!! Non-Beauty Deals:

American Eagle- If you didn't know, I work at American Eagle so I thought I'd do a little plugging :) Stores are opening at 8 pm Thanksgiving. For the first 10 hours, 8 PM to 6 AM, the whole store will be 50% off. After 6, the store goes back to 40% off. And from what my manager told me, you can also stack coupons , which isn't something we normally allow.

Bath and Body Works- BB&W is offering their usual tote full of goodies this year. All you need to do is spend $40 to get the tote for $20. It's full of a $100 worth of product. As of now, I'm not sure what the other deals are but I will edit this post when I find out.

Aeropostale- Aero is offering 60% off the whole store, which isn't much compared to the bulldog sale that happens 2-3 times a year. I'm not much of an Aero shopper anymore, but I do like them for their hoodies and sweatpants(I'm a sucker for sweatpants :) ) so now would be a good time to stock on the essentials.

If you're going to skip out on Black Friday and just shop online(which I don't blame you and I thank you for!) don't forget to use ebates so you can take advantage of more coupons and get cash back. I don't shop online without it!

Black Friday Roundup! Sigma, Amerian Eagle, Ulta and More!!

Hi everyone and happy Thanksgiving!! Today is all about family, food and being thankful for just being alive and healthy.  My family is doing this a bit different today. We aren't having the traditional Thanksgiving meal, we're having hamburgers and chips :) What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Anyway, along with Thanksgiving comes Black Friday shopping, the initial kickoff to holiday shopping.  This year, Black Friday is starting tonight, on Thanksgiving at some stores such as Walmart and Target at 8pm. Others start at midnight. My personal view is that this is awful for those who have to work instead of spend time with their family. But some people want to just get their shopping done. In anticipation of the huge sales, I thought I'd do a quick roundup of the sales I think are the best before my family gets here.

Ulta is offering some pretty nice door buster sets. There are a couple Bare Mineral sets for only $10 . Conair hair tools only $10 as well and Conair products are really great quality, so if you can jump on that deal do it! Nail of the Day: OPI's I Don't Give a Rotterdam!

 

I have a confession guys. I've been wearing OPI's I Don't Give a Rotterdam! on my nails almost all month long. Every time I did my nails, I'd simply repaint them with this polish. Love it so much! This comes from the Holland collection and to me, this color screams winter. It's a beautiful silver blue with whitish silver shimmer. It looks like snowfall on your nails, which I love! It wears so well too, it barely chips. It makes me remember why I love OPI so much. Speaking of OPI, Ulta is having 2 for $12 now through November 3rd, so its an excellent time to go stock up. What are some of your favorite colors?

Mini Ulta Haul!

HI beauties! I stopped by Ulta this week in search of nail polish.  I officially broke my no-nail polish buy which lasted 5 months. Very proud of my self.  If you didn’t know, if you buy two OPI polishes you get a free base or top coat and I wanted to take advantage of that. 
At first, I was going to get some permanent colors that I’ve been wanting for ever, Lincoln Park After Dark and Vodka and Caviar because for some unbeknownst reason, I don’t own them.  But my brother talked me into getting one from the Swiss collection and one from the Germany collection.  The blue one is I Don’t Give a Rotterdam and the purple one is Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs, the latter is extremely gorgeous I have it on my nails right now.  I’ll have a nail of the day post up soon


Next I picked up two more of the Revlon Kissable Lip Balm Stains since they were bogo and there was also a manufacturers coupon for a dollar off next to a display of them. I got Smitten and Sweatheart. I have a review of them coming up on my youtube channel this week.

While I was perusing the nail polish, my brother, Kris got into the NYX eyeshadow samples and got black eyeshadow all over his face, he looked like a racoon! So I grabbed this travel sized pack of Yes to Cucumbers makeup remover wipes since they were only $2 bucks by the check out.  They removed the eyeshadow no problem and I actually really like them.  I’ve always been curious about them so I’m glad I had the chance to try them.  Thanks, bro.
